6 Weeks + 6 Days

Here's our newest pictures...
So far no real change. All my clothes still fit and I'm still at about 130lbs. I am still sick as hell though. I know I was not this sick with the girls. Yuck!! And I get really tired easily. I'm hoping this is just some of the first trimester "adjusting" and that it'll all even out soon. I told Doug that this better be a boy because I'm not so sure I could do this again. I'm so tired and walk around like I've got the stomach flu all the time. Not fun. I bought some ginger ale and some crackers - we'll see how that works out in the morning.

Completely ready for today to be over!

Ok, first I'll start with the good stuff before the bitching. LOL
We mailed the invitations out on Monday (most of them)! YAY!

So, hopefully we start getting response cards and all of that good stuff back. I've got about a dozen more to put together and send out. I'm getting the final details hammered out and we're starting to make final payments. WHEW! I can't believe it's getting so close.

And now the bitching!
I'm just feeling like CRAP! I'm exhausted, moody, hungry and ready to vomit at a moments notice. All day. It's even to the point I threw up at work today - 3 times! UGH. I'm so not motivated and just want to nap. Or sit in my chair and read my book. Pretty much anything that doesn't require any thought or movement.
Luckily the girls have been really good and have pretty much cleaned the whole house. They're my little life savers. Although they may only be doing it to save their own little lives since I'm not exactly what one would call pleasant! And I think Doug is happy for his schedule, since it keeps him out of the direct path most of the time. I haven't seen him for more than a few minutes since the weekend. Probably best if we're going to make it that 58 days to the wedding without him choking me. I think the cure for pregnancy hormones should be a straight-jacket. What I need is a glass of wine. What I'll get is a hot bath.

The Girls

Well, the girls were SO VERY excited. I was bombarded with questions; when will he be born? where will the baby sleep? can I help feed him? Is it a boy or a girl? what are we going to do if it's another girl? Can we name him? Are you going to get fat?
Hey, at least they're happy right!?
There's been lots of questions as to whether or not my wedding dress will fit. I'm not worried. At this point its early and there's not that much time left until the wedding (67 days to be exact!) and I'm confident everything will be fine.
So, we're working on names and cleaning out closets and every now and again any one of the girls will come up and hug me.

Life is good

4 weeks + 6 days

Ok so here's our first picture! Three weeks and only growing from here.
So, let's do a quick lesson in pregnancy math for those that have noticed the title doesn't match that last sentence. When the doctors calculate your due date they do it 40 weeks from your last period- thereby adding two weeks since you don't ovulate and actually get pregnant for another 14 or so days after your period ends. Since we were tracking my cycle and know when I was ovulating we've got a pretty firm grasp on when I got pregnant. We were actually going to wait until after the wedding for this part but that didn't work out quite like we planned (gee, thanks Michelle;)). And here we are, three weeks after some vodka and Red Bull and bad math and couldn't be happier!
Remember, you can scroll down to the bottom and subscribe and it'll send you an email every time I update this. I'm trying to be consistant and keep things up to date. Since we're still planning the wedding and now for a baby there's lots going on.
Love to all!

Proud Papa!

Here's Doug being very proud of himself! I don't know that you're exactly entitled to being quite this proud about doing something you didn't realize you did - but hey if it keeps him smiling I'm all for it. I love you, my big goofy darling!
